Families will enjoy a visit to the Swindon & Cricklade Railway to go back in time and see what trains and railways used to be like. The attraction, run by railway enthusiasts, offer train services on most weekend days, public holidays and school holiday wednesdays. A round trip on this railway line takes 24 minutes and services depart from Blunsdon, arrive at South Meadow Lane and then make the return journey.

If you're a real train enthusiast then you may wish to drive the train! Driving experiences can be booked and arrange in advance for a cost of £150, with a choice of diesel or steam engined trains!
